SPYTB is holding tryouts for ages 7U-15U on Sunday, August 17th at Chuck Hall, so please mark your calendars. Players will be asked to wear baseball cleats and bring a glove, bat and helmet. There will also be a makeup date available for players with a conflict on that weekend or for inclement weather. The times for the tryouts will be confirmed in the very near future, but they will be similar to the tryouts in 2024 with throwing, pitching, running, hitting and fielding.

Please register for your tryout age division by clicking on the link below to register for tryouts. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is August 10th. Cutoff is April 30 of every year. Example: To be 11U next year you have to be 11 as of 4/30/26.

Sauk Prairie Youth Travel Baseball (SPYTB) is a non-profit organization with a corporate name of Sauk Prairie Rebels Baseball. The mission of SPYTB is to provide travel baseball to youth in Sauk Prairie and to keep kids playing competitive baseball on local teams. Teams are chosen after a tryout and only youth from the Sauk Prairie School District are able to play on these teams. In 2025, there were 10 teams competing for SPYTB from 7U-15U. These teams play some games during the week and also travel to multiple tournaments throughout the summer. Players are expected to be committed to these teams and plan to make the tournaments that are played. Tryouts are being held in the summer of 2025 for the 2026 travel teams, so the coaches of the teams are able to have some group practices and events throughout the winter. Also this will allow for players to be in baseball shape when the tryouts are held outside instead of being held inside after a long offseason. Finally, holding the tryouts in the summer will allow for tournament dates to be selected early and relayed to all players and families to be sure that players are available to play when the tournaments are scheduled.
