1714 - Guitar Lessons: Beyond the Basics (Adult)

This course is designed for the guitar player who wants to move beyond basic chords and strumming patterns. We will take a closer look at topics from the Beginning Guitar course, such as suspended chords, alternating bass, and bass runs. Lessons will also include barre chords, slash chords, and more complex strumming patterns. Students will be encouraged to contribute song ideas for the class to learn. The class will be taught in a focused, small group environment. Students should have an acoustic guitar, picks, and a tuner or tuning app. A capo and three-ring binder are recommended.
