1712 - YEL Woodworking 1.0 for Kids

This Youth Enrichment League (YEL) class educates students on the use of basic tools including hammer, nails, screwdriver, measuring tape, t-square and more.

Young builders will make a paddle boat, a bird house, trophy stand and garden tote learning to measure, cut, sand and paint. Participants will take home every project they make.

Please note that SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY. No power tools will be used in class.

Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.
